The Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) comprising 14 counties within the Lake Victoria Basin in partnership with Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA), Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA), Kenya Marine & Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI) and Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) will hold its inaugural Trade Investment and Blue Economy Conference on 23rd – 26th October 2018.

Deadline for Abstract Submission: Monday 20th August, 2018, 00:00 hrs. All abstracts and papers for presentation at the Inaugural Lake Region Trade Investment and Blue Economy Conference must focus on the thematic areas. 300 words consisting of: Background, Objective(s), Methods, Results/Key findings, Policy Implication or Practice, Conclusions, Recommendations. Papers for presentation must be between 3,500 and 4,000 words, submitted with 300-350 word abstracts, and a biography o no more than 50 words. Authors MUST send their 300-350 word abstracts before submitting the full paper.
